econsultancy have a good article about the growth of the video advertising market with the caveat that most people still watch most video on their TV. this could be a good argument for moving towards an IPTV/VoD model to get online style advertising (accountability, interactivity etc) to the television.
The model that Hulu is employing seems to be showing good results (higher CPMs and consumer preference).
